Why Does My Dashboard Say My Tax Profile Is Incomplete?

If you see an amber banner on your Dashboard saying "Your tax profile is incomplete," it means one or more of the fields Flux needs for an accurate tax estimate haven't been filled in yet — the banner lists exactly which ones are missing (filing status, home state, date of birth, dependent children, self-employment retirement selection, city, or resident type, depending on what applies to you).

Click Complete Tax Profile on the banner to jump straight to your Profile page and fill in what's missing. If you'd rather deal with it later, click the X to dismiss the banner — it won't reappear once dismissed, even though your tax profile is technically still incomplete, so your tax estimate may be less accurate until you fill it in.
