Why Don't I See a Payday Question for My Source?

The payday question only shows up for sources with a regular pay schedule (weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly, twice per month) that also have auto-log turned on — Flux needs your payday to know when to auto-log for you.

If your source is on an irregular schedule ("I am not paid on a regular schedule"), Flux skips the payday question and auto-log setup entirely — there's no fixed schedule to auto-log against, so you'll log income manually as you earn it.

If your source has a regular schedule but auto-log is turned off, you won't see the payday question either — there's nothing to schedule around without auto-log enabled.

If auto-log is on and you try to save without answering the payday question, Flux will show "This is required to turn on auto-logging" next to the field until you fill it in.
