My Pay Stub Amount Doesn't Match My Rate Settings — What Happens?

When you upload a pay stub for auto-log, Flux compares the gross amount on the stub to what your rate settings would calculate for that period. If there's a mismatch of more than a penny, you'll see a red notice flagging the difference. This check is specific to auto-log — pay stubs uploaded for Jump Start aren't compared this way, since Jump Start is pulling a year-to-date total rather than a single period's gross.

From there you have two options: Update my rate settings (takes you back to adjust your rate so it matches your actual pay) or Continue anyway (keeps the stub's numbers as-is). This check re-runs any time you return to the preview screen, so if you go back and adjust something, it'll re-compare automatically.
